In 1922 Wonder Dancing dolls were featured in the musical deed Tangerine, in the show striking song (You and I) Atta Baby song, past composer Carlo-Sanders.
ca. 1920s Averill Allie Dog doll or Allle Kat doll, xv" tall, bisque flange head with (the dog) floppy ears, large brown drinking glass eyes, open smiling mouth with two upper and two lower teeth & red tongue, black nose, on fabric torso & upper legs with stitched hips, composition lower legs, doll marked Allie Canis familiaris (or Allie Kat), Copr past Georgene Averill, Germany, 1405, both animals were distributed by George Borgfeldt.
1921 Averill Buddy Boy doll, 19" alpine, composition flange caput and lower arms, material upper artillery, body and legs with stitched hips, molded painted blonde hair, painted eyes, closed oral fissure, Mama crier in tummy. Doll mark unmarked. Ink postage on body; Madame Hendren Life Like Doll, Patented June 11th, 1918.
1921-1924 Averill Stone a Bye Baby doll, 14, sixteen, eighteen" tall, composition shoulder caput and lower artillery, material upper arms, body and straight legs, mohair wig, tin sleep eyes that close when doll is rocked, three criers; in doll body and both hips, open mouth, shipping box is the dolls cradle. Doll is unmarked. The Rock a Goodbye Baby doll was also sold through Sears.
1923-1924 Averill Chocolate Drop doll, eleven-12 or sixteen" tall, brown textile rag doll on printed fabric with three yarn pigtails, designed by Grace Drayton, doll mark Chocolate Driblet Copyright past G.G. Drayton.
1923 Averill Dolly Dingle doll, 11-12 or 16" tall, white all cloth rag doll on printed fabric, blonde hair, big circular optics, designed by Grace Drayton, doll marking Copyright by G.G. Drayton. Too, some xi" alpine, Dolly Dingle textile dolls, were multi-face dolls with ii faces.
1923 Averill U-Shab-Ti doll or Ushabti doll, xviii" tall, Averill'south Tutankhaman Toys & Tut's Pup, brown composition shoulder caput and hands, brown cloth artillery, trunk and legs, molded and pained black hair, painted brownish eyes, slightly open smile mouth. Doll is unmarked. Wore an Egyptian headdress, matching skirt a belt and sandals. This same head mold was used on a white Mama doll, as well unmarked.
1924-1925 Averill Babe Dingle, part of the Dolly Dingle group of dolls, composition head with molded hair, painted eyes or sleep eyes.
1924 Boob Mcnutt doll, 34" tall, comic grapheme (1915-1934) created past Rube Goldberg, printed lithograph on oilcloth facial features and shirt with tie 1 piece doll, oilcloth blackness sport jacket, rust pants, blackness shoes and tiny yellow hat, made for Star Doll & Toy Co. Doll is marked with his name "Boob Mcnutt" imprinted beneath his tie on front and came with a hangtag,
1926 Averill Betty Bronson Cinderella doll, xiii" alpine, a topsy-turvy ii headed doll, both are composition shoulder heads and arms, gray tin sleep eyes, brown mohair wig with a shared trunk, no legs, doll is unmarked. Betty Bronson (1906-1971) was an actress, played Peter Pan and was in A Buss For Cinderella both JM Barrie silent films.
1927 Averill Rag or Tag, 5" tall, dog or cat figurines, hinge cervix, drinking glass eyes, unremarkably marked Rag Trademark Copr. past Georgene Averill 890 Deutschland.
1930s Averill Aviator Daughter doll, 17" alpine, composition shoulder caput, stuffed cloth body and limbs, dressed every bit an Aviator; jacket, shirt, wool pants, under clothing, leggings, shoes, hat and goggles, doll is unmarked. Head mold was used on other Hendren - Averill dolls.
Belatedly 1930s Georgene Miss America doll, 14" tall, all cloth doll with side glancing painted eyes, existent eyelashes, yarn hair, airtight oral cavity, came dressed on a red, white and blue apparel with a Statue of Freedom cardboard crown, doll marked with a hangtag; Georgene's Nu-Art Doll A Product of Georgene Averill Novelties, Inc. Made in United states Miss America.
